Humanoid robots being set up at Science Centre Singapore

Bringing Hands-On Humanoid Robotics to STEM Education

LUKK Automation successfully delivered 20 Hiwonder Tonybot Advanced humanoid robots to Science Centre Singapore, supporting hands-on robotics education, programming, and STEM learning.

20 Tonybot humanoid robots lined up

The project was designed to provide students with an accessible and engaging platform to explore robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, sensors, and human-robot interaction.

A Platform for Practical Learning

The Tonybot robots are equipped with an AI vision module, ultrasonic and IMU sensors, wireless connectivity, and interactive capabilities. They support Arduino, Python, and Scratch programming, allowing students to learn robotics through practical experimentation and programming activities.

The robots also support functions such as obstacle avoidance, distance sensing, touch interaction, movement control, and other programmable applications, providing flexibility for different educational activities.

Deployment & Training

LUKK Automation managed the project through robot preparation, testing, configuration, delivery, setup, and training. The deployment included robot operation and safety training, programming using Scratch, Python and Arduino, AI demonstrations, and guidance for workshop usage.

The project also included supporting documentation, training materials, sample codes, and technical support to help facilitate continued use of the robotic platforms.

Project Outcome

With 20 humanoid robots deployed, the project provides Science Centre Singapore with a scalable platform for conducting hands-on robotics workshops and introducing students to programming, AI, and robotic technologies.
