Secure, Auditable SMS Communication for LTA Operations
LUKK Automation developed the LTA Centurion Enterprise SMS Gateway, an enterprise communication platform designed to support secure SMS dispatch, delivery monitoring, contact management, and operational auditing for the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA).
The system provides a centralised management portal that enables authorised operators to manage SMS communications while maintaining visibility over message delivery, system activity, and operational records.
Secure Gateway Architecture
The platform is designed around a dual-NIC network architecture, separating the internal LTA operational network from the external communication network.
The architecture allows the system to communicate outbound through the external network while keeping inbound external traffic blocked, providing a controlled approach to external SMS communication.
Centralised SMS Management
The LTA Enterprise SMS Gateway provides operators with a central platform for managing SMS communications and operational contacts.

The system uses an outbound polling mechanism to retrieve SMS delivery status from the network communication layer.
Instead of relying on inbound external webhooks, the gateway periodically retrieves delivery information and updates the local database. This approach supports the system's network architecture while keeping inbound external traffic closed.
Audit & System Security
The platform maintains operational audit records for activities such as user logins, SMS dispatches, operator approvals, and configuration changes.
The system also records relevant gateway and delivery errors to support monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational accountability.
