Meet the VR WSH/EHS Training Experience Centre

The VR WSH/EHS Training Experience Centre is a permanent VR-based WSH/EHS training booth for installation at your worksite. Users stand and move physically while wearing the VR headset, on a dedicated platform with safety barricades/guardrails around the movement area. LUKK delivers a complete mini VR training facility inside the booth. This includes the physical booth, two independent VR training areas, safety systems, VR hardware, licensed training content, displays, instructor controls, electrical works, integration and commissioning. This is a permanent installation, not a temporary exhibition booth.

Our objective

To design, supply, integrate and commission a permanent VR-based WSH/EHS training centre at your worksite, allowing two users to undergo immersive safety training simultaneously, while an instructor controls the sessions and observers view the training on large displays.

Training content

Ready-made simulator content, licensed and sourced from specialist suppliers, covers two main areas.

AI is optional and not a mandatory core component. Assessment is first established through the VR supplier's software. AI can be considered later for voice interaction, behaviour analytics or additional performance insights.

Built for real operations

VR Area 1: Emergency Response

Fire identification and fire extinguisher selection/use. Chemical spill response and hazard isolation. First-aid scenarios. Emergency evacuation and emergency procedures.

VR Area 2: EHS/WSH Safety

Work at height and fall prevention. Confined-space entry and hazard recognition. Forklift/pedestrian safety. Traffic management and general workplace safety.

Booth construction and physical infrastructure

Permanent booth frame, floor, walls, fascia and ceiling. Two separate standing VR platforms with anti-slip surfaces. Safety barricades/guardrails around both movement areas. Safe entry/exit gates, steps or ramps as required. Structural mounting points for tracking sensors, displays and lighting. Finishing, branding, ventilation and maintenance access.

VR equipment for two users

2 commercial VR headsets, one per training bay. 2 sets of VR controllers or compatible hand-tracking devices. Tracking sensors/cameras/base stations, as required by the chosen platform. Headset charging docks, spare batteries, face cushions and accessories. Tracking calibration and guardian/safety-boundary configuration. The selected VR system is validated to support the software supplier's content and simultaneous two-user operation.

Rendering and simulation equipment

VR-capable workstation/PC for each training bay, if PC-tethered VR is selected. GPU, CPU, RAM and storage sized to the software supplier's requirements. Network connectivity between training PCs and the instructor station. Headset connection accessories, USB hubs and cable management. UPS or power protection for critical control equipment, where appropriate.

Observer and training displays

2 large commercial displays, one for each VR training area. HDMI, DisplayPort, casting or software-based mirroring, depending on VR platform. Wall/booth mounting brackets and AV cabling. 1 separate general-purpose display on the left side for announcements, safety videos or company messages.

Instructor and training management

Instructor PC or workstation. Desk/console, monitor, keyboard and mouse. Training management software/dashboard. Scenario selection and session start/stop controls. Live status and monitoring of both VR users. User/session selection, assessment access and report generation.

Training evaluation and analytics

Trainee identification and training history. Scenario-based assessment and scoring. Pass/fail criteria and configurable thresholds. Time taken, correct/incorrect actions and missed safety steps. Instructor dashboard, performance breakdown and exportable reports. Optional central database or cloud dashboard, subject to customer IT requirements.

Power, connectivity and commissioning

Electrical distribution and power outlets for all equipment. Dedicated circuits where required, earthing and protective devices. Lighting, emergency lighting and ventilation as required by site conditions. Network cabling, Wi-Fi/LAN and internet access if required by the software. Cable containment, concealed wiring and safe cable routing. Integration, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
